Jeremiah is Director of Developer Marketing for Windows at Microsoft. He believes that everyone on earth who wants to, should be able to learn to code. We’d like to help.
For Microsoft, he codes, designs, writes & tweets things. All code is his own (probably for the better). Previously he was a founding member and the program architect of the Windows Insider Program, the largest community of people on earth using tech to improve their world.
Before Microsoft he worked for the UN in Africa and Asia (based in Paris), was a Fulbright Scholar (to Costa Rica), Director of Operations for DDD (a social enterprise in Cambodia and Laos), and worked in the Dominican Republic with the Peace Corps. He’s worked in tech for 20+ years (just, wow).
In the “real world,” he advises early-stage startups on their strategy, tech, and operations, and writes about his experiences with these entrepreneurs.
Some other stats: Wharton MBA. MA (Int’l Studies) from UPenn (Lauder). CS undergrad from Columbia. Native English, fluent in Spanish, once-fluent in French.
He enjoys Ultimate Frisbee, triathlons, skiing, surfing and emerging technology.
He loves traveling around the world learning lessons over lattes, negronis, & Sancerre. (Not at the same time.)
